Live from the stand!

I will be 55 in a few weeks. Harvested my first deer when I was 16 (with a bow). Never have harvested a big buck. Haven't killed a doe in about 10 years. About every 3 years I get tired of holding out for a big boy and take a small buck and I am as happy as when I took my first. For me it is all about being in the woods and having fun.
25 turkeys came through at 15 yards. 15 deer in the neighbors field. So much pressure on the farm lately that I think alot of the deer are over there due to no hunting.
Ended up being skunked, did find this 20 yds from my stand.
And then this one when I was backing out.

Skunked as well, figured with all the volleys going off up and down the valley they'd go nocturnal.... Probably a couple hundred bucks easy was spent in the last 3 hours of daylight....
Braydon missed a bb tonight. Had a bad feeling as he shoots good....scope was loose. Gonna get all that tight and resighted tomorrow.
I didn't stay out long. My feet froze out on the metal stand. Nothing was moving & the neighbors were out moving about. As soon as I got in, the wife went out with her dog. She came back in & said there were a number of deer headed towards my stand. I still don't know if she was fucking with me or not.
That is so wrong, if she was messing it is wrong, if they were coming it is still wrong!!!
I went out this morning. Seen 2 ground squirrels, had a screetch owl bothering me, and almost got a shot at a rabbit. He was running from brushpile to brushpile. Never would stop for me to settle the pin. My mouth was watering thinking about cooking some rabbit
