Good to hear the unit is being used at home giles. Do you have a septic tank? Its ok to dump every so often into the main middle tank per our service rep/manufacturer. I agree its great to be able to put ppl up, in comfort, and out of the house for privacy.

May not be camping Phil but atleast ya used her! Hows the underside fix holding up?

Yup, I'm on a septic. It ain't like much is going in it. It's more for people like my mom that stay and get up to pee in the middle of the night. We use it often enough that it isn't a problem, I just don't like it sitting in there for a week sometimes. I usually end up filling it up with the garden hose. Not sure if it helps, but it makes me feel better. Lol

Underside is okay Adam. On the maiden voyage with the repair it was damaged. Turning around a corner, down into the camp ground, my tool box or bed side must have gotten into it. I also have one place it sagged down a bit. Probably because I "caulked" it all and then realized I had a tube of adhesive, not silicone. Doh! I will add another screw or two, and caulk them up properly before it is stored away for the winter. I have one more show to use it on in October. Not sure we will get to camp anymore this year.

I did replace the rooftop AC unit. Sure is nice to have working AC again. Only took me a 2-3yr span to get around to it. We need a place to sleep. We don't need AC when we are camping. It is CAMPING, not going to the Hilton. lmao

Yuppers. Easy to do. Especially when you do things last minute or 100mph. I was last minute at 100mph when I did that. It was dark. Had 4 tubes of caulk/adhesive. Grabbed the wrong one. In the end it might be for the best. A little extra adhesive on the seams covered by the flexible silicone- I don't think it will hurt anything over the long haul.

After a busy July/August of work, we are knocking off the cob webs this weekend. The boys were both excited last night when I told them we were camping this weekend, that's what it's all about!

This weather is a nice tease for the upcoming season! I have our unit open, airing out and stretching her legs today in the driveway. Checked air pressure and brought leveled all 4 tires off. Slide out mechanism has been hit with dry lubricant, and seals have been washed and baby powdered. Still get some squeaking when coming in, has from day 1, but would be nice to get rid of completely. They are designed to maintenance free any more so I'm not touching it any further.

We decided to not to do seasonal again this summer so I just need to do bearings and seals before hitting the road this spring.

Anyone else getting the itch? Any projects in the off seasons to improve the upcoming ones?

Itch...my kids been so far up my ass with this weather it ain't funny! I'm probably gonna store it someplace next year. I'm glad they like it...but I'm tired of hearing about it! Lol. I'll get it all cleaned up and cleaned out next weekend. Gonna power wash it and the house. Spring cleaning so maybe we can hit the walleye run this year.

Lol Giles. At least they are excited about it and not complaining about it sitting in the drive in the way or the Mrs. making negative comments about. Do you use it for extra storage or check on it regularly during winter for mice, any new leaks or anything? If so, something to think about with it being stored somewhere. I am in and out of ours at least 1-2x week for those reasons and keep it plugged in.

It makes for a nice extra radio when turning wrenches in the driveway or working outside.

Checked the air in tires last weekend and did a walk through to make sure things were still working. I may dewinterize on Sunday if I get time. The entire family is chomping at the bit to get out this year!

Nope. Haven't thought about it. Got the wife's Nova done today. Washed it. One thing is ready for spring. Too bad i'll be working too much to enjoy it.
