Hey Chad....my buddy used to do that stuff too. Made some slick sticks and pans out of Cocobolo, glass (with underlays), aluminum, and slate.

Let me know when you're ready...I've got an idea for you.

Idk, I haven't even started making pot calls yet as I don't have the chuck I need for my lathe. I did save some feathers for that though.

That first pic looks like you etched a little turkey track in it! Gave me the idea of you making a little "brand" of some sort to start marking these. Burn a little turkey foot in each one to brand them. Just in case this ever becomes more then a hobby...

Just received an awesome gift from a great friend in the mail today...! This Tusky River striker has a great sound and feel to it, I was most impressed with the fact that I pulled my two Cody's out of my hunting vest and without conditioning either one I scratched out great purrs, clucks and yelps that were very appealing to my ear. I'm impressed with your new found ability to make a great Stricker Chad. Once again thanks my friend!
