Same here, I was able to hold back today but I haven't always. I've never hit a co-worker but they've gotten a verbal beating.

Dad died Monday. Tuesday accounts were opened in his name. Some piece of garbage stole his identity. Part of me wants to beat the snot out of someone. Another part of me (dad's nonconfrontational side) is saying "how pathetic? They will get theirs someday." Maybe I should have posted this in the TOO Good thread. Why? 1) Because my siblings have been dealing with it. 2) because it won't hurt Dad's credit. 3) it has nothing to do with Mom. 4) they have already ID'd 2 cell phone numbers and an email address left. These jokers are not highly trained professionals. They are going to get caught.

What a shame and no one should be put through this. Down here couple years ago a group was doing home break ins when the family was a the funeral services.
I say shoot them immediately, roll them in a out of the way ditch and let the damn bugs eat them. I told that to my neighbor after I had a break in in pole barn. He said 'you wouldn't do that' 'in a second' I told him. He was a convicted burglar. Never had a problem later.

Phil hang tough as they always gets their just rewards.

A day before my dad passed, the caretaker from hospice got my dad's info (we assumed while he lay in a drug induced stupor with the morphine) and hit the ATM two days in a row for a couple hundred bucks... Bitch had the nerve too show up at the funeral .... Yeah she was shown the door, and promptly arrested for the theft.... People are pieces of shit... Not all but enough to make you very cautious ....

That's pretty ballsy showing up to the funeral. Pretty sad stuff

Sorry to hear Phil.

Back in college I worked at a large credit card company. Was always amazed when a cardholder passed how family and caretakers would charge up 10's of thousands and think they would get away with it.

You can't save them all, I'll put an extra prayer in for those folks tonight.
That is the attitude my dad would take. Thank you Dave.

Thank you all. It is disappointing for humanity but I won't lose all faith in man. The character of the people on TOO shows me there are still many great people out there.

Found out last night that my Aunt Barb, my mom's older sister, passed away yesterday afternoon. Also been thinking a lot about my mom lately as it was just a couple weeks ago last year she started on her journey in and out of the hospitals before passing in late October.

I'm sorry Chuck.

Can't give many details on Dad's identity theft case. I will say we have 2 cell phone numbers, 5 opened accounts in his name AND another name. Also have the other name in the hands of the police. These aren't professionals. I hope they nail them to the wall.
