New spot and had doe come flying into stand 10 yards away. she kept looking behind her. Had crosshairs on her but let her go on the off chance something was following her (buck or trespassers). Something went off in other direction farther away. Looked down at watch and realized I was 3 min before legal shooting light anyway (#blessed). On side note, it’s now past sunrise near very used public land and I’ve heard zero shots. Kinda strange.

Busted by a doe.
I shot 1 out of a group of 5 on Monday.
The remaining 4 just came by and an older doe looked right up at me like I was a blue light special.
Wind was in my favor so she may have just remembered the other day. After the shot , the other 4 blasted all over so I thought they dident know where I was...
O well . Lots of slobs moving in the woods around the neighboring blocks to stir things up.

Me too. Pounding head and screaming throat kept me in today. Hoping to get back to feeling normal enough to get out tomorrow
I had a long week, I slept in this morning and glad I did. Talked to another guy that has hunted the property all week, he only seen 4 deer total! Depressing...not sure I’ll even go out at this point. Maybe I’ll get ahold of my farming buddy’s and see if they have any deer drives going today.
