I’ve been sitting here in this blind since 6:30 and haven’t seen a thing yet. I’ll sit tight until noon, go home for lunch and then try another property this afternoon. Good luck guys!
4 does so far. 2 adults with yearlings. Surprisingly, no bucks. Going to sit until 10:30, then check cams. Cold, damp, and windy here.

Had 2 year old buck follow where those does went this am. Was about hour later. Wasn’t doggin real hard but was slowly moving towards where he thought they went.

Just had a decent 2.5 year old 8 point walk by at 20 yards. Heart rate went up real fast and I took the safety off. Decided to let him pass and just watched him.
I was just sitting here wondering if I burnt this place out but he never looked at the blind other than a glance or two. Sweet. Feels like deer season now!

Just passed another 2 year old 8pt and had does move by out of range. This has been my best deer season to date, and I ain’t killed a thing. Haha
Nope, just answering the question. I ain’t the one with a “I stand with Phil” sticker on my camper.

Had our #1 30 yds behind us and he spooked. Drew said he is the biggest deer he has ever seen in the woods...he is a good one. Damn!
Sitting out the weekend and waiting until tomorrow for a better wind.
No dead deer . But did find these on the walk out .

Rain picked up a good bit & shoo'ed me home. If there had been rutting activity going on, I'd be in the popup. For now, I feel like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin. It's gonna change real soon though !

The main rain system has passed us. Forecast isnt saying anything about more coming, but the radar is showing another band coming out of Indiana right now...
