I woke up early and decided to sit behind the house until 8:30 then go to work. Small 6 point strolled by at sunrise and then 2 does shortly after. Good luck guys.

Figured I'd jump on here and give my daily morning report, then maybe a shooter will show up as I type.
Anyhow,,,
It's freezing out all right! A whopping 27 degress with virtually no wind.
Toes are nice & warm though.
One buck, one doe, one unidentified, two squirrels & one Cottontail all within the first hour so far.
Not bad. Still no serious doe chasing going on yet.
The buck was young one that was captured on my TC last night. Nose to the ground and a doe 50 yards away at the top of the ridge.

I've seen 4 bucks with a total of maybe 30" of bone combined.

I finally saw one of my shooters. Too far to shoot. I’ve seen 7 so far, three bucks. Two good ones.
Just one other Doe @9:30.
Looks like I'm not the only one hunting this area though.
I intend on moving to a different location very shortly.
Looks like I have another half rack buck 'TOO'.

Six does and a beat up little half rack. Back in for the day. Gonna relax and sip on some bourbon before the kids get home [emoji16]
I stayed out till @ 1030. Nothing more seen there. Today's , my last day of vacation & I have to go do a few errands this afternoon. On the way back, I switched out cards in some cams & all the bucks are going crazy at night. Got back to my place & switched out one more cam by my picnic table. As I was walking away, I looked back & saw a deer watching me. Next thing I know , I have 3 more deer coming in to feed , underneath my cam ... I was just there.... that is my luck..... I got ready in case a buck came in, & only took pics.
But, a buck was there, just not at the same time.... off course. Mr Limpy made another appearance . He probably took a shit somewhere in the yard as well....

Sure is nice out here compared to the weekend. Still no deer though lol.
