Right. I'm low on funds though. Winning that bet wouldn't put much in my pocket. I was sort of looking for the long shot odds on the 870. $2 bet could fill my wallet. Lol

I started a couple of weeks ago looking for a place to hunt near home. I little different however I will just be shooting with my cameras, no weapons. I would probably purchase a tag and carry a hunting handgun in case I would get the opportunity to thin the coyote herd a little. The first farm I approached, A well known anti hunter land owner was a little confused when I asked him to hunt with just a camera. It took him 10 mins to tell me know instead of the typical 10 seconds.

Ron and I erected a double ladder stand on our farm this morning and set up two ground blinds on our lease this afternoon. We also shot our lever guns(him Mar 444- me Henry 45-70) at 90,130 and 200 yards and are both zeroed in.
Hanging out here at deer camp now with our friends. Talking strategies,where we’re each hunting tomorrow over brisket and smoked turkey and beers.
