My 14% was immediate match, but I'm not sure of when I become fully vested. As someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong business acumen, I'm a fish out of water right now. But... I've been given a difficult task: create a profitable business inside and academic institution with less than $10K in start up capital and no existing process or products. I need to break $100K in revenue to do that. If I can do that in this setting, I can do real business anywhere, anytime. It's a fantastic training opportunity for someone that ultimately wants to consult for a living.

I don't fault you at all there. They don't pay y'all enough to begin with to make the retirement benefits worth it.

Teachers in Ohio are paid fairly well my wife ais averaging to $35 an hour for 52 weeks while she was working like 27 weeks (185 days) a year in reality. I worked at a year round school 230 day contract and dont have my masters I think I was averaging like $28 buck an hour. Niether of us had 10 years I was a level 8 and she was a 7. Point of this post is teachers in decent school districts in Ohio are well compensated. Now the southern states, teachers are on welfare lol

They are removing two 100 pair cables so that linegang can remove a pole. They ran a new cable from another pole and we had to throw off to the new cable and cut out the old. Just finished. Now linegang will come out tomorrow and remove the two old 100 pair cables and the pole.
