A little rabbit chasing this morning. Pups are getting better every day. Mason picked up a shed antler too.

It was pretty nice. He found it in a waterway, partially buried in sand. It is super dark. I’d guess it has been in that ditch for quite some time. A pretty neat find for sure.

Another fun few hours in the woods with Mason and Caleb. The big dead head is a buck we found back in gun season with an arrow in his back. We also found a dead spike buck. Saw a woodcock too and probably more than 20 rabbits.

Well sure we do. What kind of rednecks would we be if we didn’t ? Lol. Tomorrow will probably be the last day for me to kill bunnies for the year.

There seems to be plenty of them around still Ric. I’m supposed to be going with a couple buddies to see how their thermal systems work They have killed somewhere around 85 since last March. I talked to them Saturday. They killed two Friday night and called in a bobcat too! I’m excited to see how it all works.

I think my bloodlust is quenched. I don’t see me getting out anymore this season. Today was fun. Just me and the pups. I saw a couple woodcocks and a deer too. Somewhere around 10 rabbits. Good hounds and sunshine, pretty hard to complain
