I went to Fremont yesterday....... fished just downstream of the bridge. I saw quite a few caught but most were snagged. I brought in 3 all of which were fowl hooked. Still too early to get excited but it was nice to get my line wet.
Got two legals today. First trip of the year. Lost a few others and snagged a few. Fished about two hours. Will probably go back up tomorrow and Sunday
I picked up where red left off. Had to work at them, thank god for elbow room.

3 1/2 hrs. Not too bad for the first go of the season on the maumee.
What a great evening for fishing. And Mike comes out of a 2 year retirement, and just killed dey azzes! Fun times
It made all the difference fishing with two good buddies.
I’m gonna have to go buy some waders...been a couple of years for me as well. Just might be the run I’ve been waiting for!
3 day limit streak. Awesome weekend to get out and wet a line.

30.25" & 10.5lbs. I've been holding myself to 31" for almost 2 decades. I've caught some similar in size on hard and soft water. Just time to hang one in the cabin.

You can get a exact fiberglass duplicate made, place a 8x10 framed pic under it. That way you get your mount and get to eat the meat. Nothing goes to waste.
