From reports on a mushroom site i check..there just startn to find them in Toledo area...So you should have a week or two of good hunting still in your area Oakswamper.

Found a few micro gray's yesterday, they will be up good around here this weekend or early next week. Buddy sent me a pic from Seneca county of a nice sack full. I just don't need any more rain lol
Went out for a little over an hour today at Cooper Hollow on my way home from work. First time in there, been wanting to hit more public around me. Found a couple spots I will be putting cameras at this coming deer season but no morels. Had a good time though, theres some big ol trees in there.

Picked 39 in our little patch today.
I found one yesterday. one of my best days of morel hunting ever. 
Stopped at quick spot in between jobs yesterday and hunted a woods about an acre big behind my moms where in 15 yrs never really found shit b4 mushroom wise.... but the way this season is found about 20 some between me and a buddy. All but 3 were around one big live elm

Heard a couple of local fellas picked 32lbs yesterday at AEP.
Had a couple buddies out on AEP yesterday as well. They had a good day. Pulled out a couple grocery sacks.
If a man can have a better day than I did this morning, I'd be glad to take notes on what he did. Didn't have a sack for mushrooms as I never expected to come across a sea of them. So I turned my hoody into a sack and filled it up after knocking down a bird. Now time to get cleaned up, clean the bird and get back out for all the rest I left. #CantStopTheFlop

Congrats! Hard to imagine a better start to a day. I’m chomping at the bit to get out there to hunt turkeys/shrooms. Nice hooks on that bird TOO!

After getting home and cleaned up I called reinforcements in to go back out for more shrooms. Close to 30 pounds. If there is anyone in the wellston/Jackson area that needs some I'd be happy to give some away. Especially any veterans and folks that cannot get out for em anymore.

Here’s a stupid question.....someone posted on here earlier about growing your own morels. I saved the link and basically you build a small raised garden and add spores that you buy online. If that works and you do in fact get morels from a garden, will the spores travel via wind and perhaps spread morels throughout the area? I’d like to walk the 7 acres behind my house to look for them every year.
