Appreciate Dave. With Dad gone too, I'll be busy for the next week. Isn't my job to replace him. Could never fill his shoes. Going to do my best to step up and support his siblings, aunt's/uncle's still alive, and all our cousins. Big family. Grandma was the eldest child of 9. Dad the first grand child. They both played big roles in our family. Nobody is asking me to, but I hold myself to this responsibility. I'll reach out if I need it though.
Thinking of you and your family Phil. Prayers headed your way during this tough time. Hope you can celebrate her 88yrs of life somehow!

Two year of "auto tech" in vocational high school for the nephew we are raising. Had a caliper stick on his car. No biggie. Cleared out the shop. Gave him full reign. Told him he had the day yesterday. Took him 8 hours to do both rotors and pads and swap a caliper. Then he proceeded to break off bleeders in the rear so he could bleed the brakes. Unfortunately, they are separate systems. He didn't have to mess with the rears. Now I'm fixing it all. Frustrated. This is basic stuff. What the flip DID he learn if he can't do a basic brake job? Ugh. Our youth are screwed.
Shingles. Miserable stuff. Hungry but cannot eat. Thirsty but can't drink. Itchy but don't want to scratch it. 430am and just sitting here uncomfortable. Can't imagine how people in third world countries deal with stuff like this?
I can't use this fucking Apple phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Struggle fest. Had it for a week not sure if it has a flashlight I can't find it. Was 30mins late to work, not used to setting this alarm. I can't figure out how to turn text messages up and down it goes sideways no matter how you hold it swipe it or shake the damn thing. I can't get the fucker to ring....just not enjoying technology......
