I think you are missing the boat. If you sweat a lot, the trick is to use a boot drier on your boot/shoes. It’s your footwear that’s making your shit stink. Wool won’t hold moisture so where do you think the smell is coming from? Wear new boots or shoes without any socks and see how fast they stink. A boot drier is the shit.

Who’s missing what boat? I have a boot drier here at the house that hasn’t been unplugged in years and one I travel with in my work bag. The boot drier isn’t the investment here, those are cheap and should be in use regardless of the type of sock.

Dave... Was in Walmart today and saw these socks for $2.00 a package 3 pair to a pack... Figured what the hell, bought 12 packs... Come Nov. I'll give everyone a pack that's hunting in Illinois... Even if they last a few wearings I got my money's worth....

Anyone try the light weights? I have mid weights but never ordered any light weights thinking they’d be like dress socks.

I have various styles and weights of Smartwool socks that I pretty much only wear for hunting and stuff, but I bought 6 pairs of these light Phd crew socks that I just wear for work and around the house. I wear them everyday for work, and most of the time otherwise when I'm not hunting or dealing with bitter cold, and these look and feel like they are brand new being a year old or so now. these fuckers might out live me. money spent on good socks and shoes is some of the best money you can spend. my feet never stink. these are even nice enough to wear with dress shoes. great socks.

It more than came up......I dont recall who the sniffer was but I about fell outta my chair when I look over to see Jesse retrieving his sock from someone's face....

It was @Redneckfucker's drunk ass. 😂 Day 3 on those socks and they spent all of Day 1 in rubber boots. No smell and not crusty. They were damp on the outside, dry next to the skin. He was mesmerized 😂
