So am I the only one that when pumping gas in my truck I have to stop on a whole number, Example, $52.33...................no I need to go to $52.35 or $53.00. Just wondering........................

I’ve done it my whole life. Well since I’ve had my license that is.... Might have stemmed from never having the cash too “fill it up” too just putting in $5 or $6 at a time...
And why the heck do they post gas prices for example $2.45.9.............Just say $2.46 for goodness sake!!!
You fuggers. My wife does this. Do you keep shopping at the store til shit adds up evenly? Haha, I ask my wife this all the time. But yea, comes from the cash paying days. I'll bet anyone under about 25 never gives it a thought. I admit, i do squeeze a bit more in to a even number after i fill up

Done it when I paid cash. Don’t do it any longer since I use a credit card. What pisses me off is some stations will limit your credit card to 99$. The other day it did it to me at 75$. I will not put fuel in and not fill it up so I had to do the whole process over again. Sometimes it will decline me at the same pump. I’m guessing the credit card company is limiting their exposure thinking it might be stolen. Or they have a 15 minute wait before you can use it again. At 2.50+ a gallon for diesel and having a 49 galling tank, it can be aggravating.
I have and I try today, however my new bank card maxis out & stops @$100, or I'll have to restart the pump again if I wish to fill it to the brim, so most of time now I just stop at a $100.

Well I normally don’t but, if I know I can buy it at 2.55 wtf would I pay 2.80 and over 3$ just to fill up half a tank. I made a 600 mile round trip and still had 175 miles till “empty” which isn’t close to empty. I don’t like giving my hard earn money away when I don’t have to.
I average around 600 miles a tank depending on what I'm hauling. My truck is never empty and if it was, depending on the cost of diesel, my truck can handle easily a $120+ of fuel.
And I'l add,,,
7.3(444 cu.in.)Turbo Diesel two wheel drive with nearly a quarter of a million miles and still runs strong!
