Nate and I were on the same wavelength. Took the eye of rounds from K's "extreme aged" back ham and made "beef and noodles". I usually do this dish right, but tonight was exceptional. The girls devoured it and we ate the whole batch as a family. Paired with cottage cheese and flaky biscuits, it was last meal worthy.

Yep. Melt a stick of butter and brown it. Add garlic and fry shortly. Then add meat and brown. Add beef stock, then thicken with cornstarch slurry. Drain noodles and toss to coat.
