I spent the morning trying to get my damn weed whacker running. got it started, but could not keep it running.

I haven't ran mine in years and of course there was fuel in it. The extent of my trying today was locating the model number and ordering a new carb, lines, plug and tank from Amazon for $40. I ain't even dicking with trying to get that bitch running before those are replaced. 😅

Things we did on a rainy Saturday during the quarantine:

Make Costa Rican Gallo Pinto for breakfast with eggs bacon and avocado
Make venison Cabbage Rolls
Prep pork butts for smoker tomorrow
Prep pork belly for smoker
Pickup 30 #’s of ground pork to make Grandpa Holzman’s sausage
Made Ron’s WFCW for dinner
Sit on front porch with Kristi enjoying a glass of Buffalo Trace bourbon and a cigar

Been shed hunting. Still working (although more cautious to avoid people than ever). Rainy day. Started bathroom face lift today. That will please the Mrs. She made deer lasagna and chocolate cake and cleaned the house with the kids. I'm not sitting around worrying. No time for that. Ordering more online stuff to stay busy. Outfitting another enclosed trailer whenever the parts and paint get here. Sitting idle just doesn't work. This is what they want. Wait til they shut down the internet. That'll freak out some people. I'll just be forced to be more focused on projects. Lol

All of the ornamental garden beds are cleaned out as of yesterday. I put all of that fiber into the compost pile. I wanted to start fishing the river this weekend, but it's flooded now. The basement is finally organized and my work bench is clear. Maybe I'll clean a few firearms this morning? Oh wait, I sold all those nasty things. I think I might go for a long walk today. It's going to be a windy one.
Back to the grind tomorrow.

Nancy tries to pull that shit on me sometimes in the summer when I'm really busy and she's home and responsible for dinner. really only two meatless dishes in our very large cookbook. spicy black bean cakes (served on a bed of spanish rice and topped with slaw) and a baked potato topped with a cherry tomato/black bean/jalapeno relish with cumin and olive oil and some guacamole and sour cream. both are absolutely delicious, but I always chop up some bacon and sprinkle on top for good measure. ;) meatless, my ass.
