Thanks fellas. My brother hauled dad back to OSU this evening. Dad is the type of person to call a cut off finger a scratch. He downplays everything he’s dealing with. His symptoms have gotten worse. He will likely be admitted tonight.

Dang Brock! Hope he gets the best care and gets this viruses ass kicked. Any word on how your parents might have got infected?
Just wondering if it was air borne or if your parents shook hands with infected family at church.
Thoughts and prayers for your family buddy.👍🏻

Church. Dad always told us growing up that if the church doors were open, we would be there. They were. Apparently there were others in attendance that had it and spread it around. My brother is almost back to normal and has not been around them until they were diagnosed. Since then, he’s banking on not being re-infected. He has masks, but has been with them daily, took them to the hospital. Tonight was the third night consecutively he has taken dad to OSU. He has been with dad at least three times a day to log his numbers and make sure he is getting meds. He’s been great. It took him two hours to talk dad into going back to OSU tonight. His temp had been staying around 102, O2 saturation was down to 88, tightness in his chest, hasn’t eaten since Thursday, hardly drinking and yet dad thinks he will be ok just waiting it out at home. He’s been sent home the last two nights because he told the folks at OSU he’s just tired and had taken Tylenol to reduce his fever. Hopefully he’s stats will result in him not being allowed to leave tonight. Apparently OSU is pretty busy with cases tonight.

I

I don’t know. They gave mom plasma and started her on ramsdiferin.. whatever it’s called, the “new” drug. I suppose they will do whatever they think is best for dad as well.

Hopefully it'll help. I did a little reading on remdesivir. Clinically proven to shorten the duration by about 4 days, so that's good.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Prayers going up.

I've been watching the R0 number climb in Ohio for the past several weeks. We're above 1 now. Hopefully it drops back below the line as more people become aware of it and take precautions.

Cases in Ohio are up 45% as of the last time this was updated on the 23rd.
