I’ve been there. My parents, MIL and myself lost everything in hurricane Katrina. Imagine one day you have everything and the next you have nothing. Small setbacks are easy to accept after living through that. Point is, it can always be worse.

Well if it ain’t my fucking favorite thread lately.
The wife went w the girls Thursday thru Sunday to a giant arts n craft place in canton, tx. I told her to take the new truck. Anyway she gets back all went well. I haven’t washed my truck in months and w a few spare hours to myself I figured I’d detail it. Washed and dried and inside completed. Went to crank it up but it does a one hitter. Won’t start. Says low fuel. Then says out of fuel. I have about 20 gallons in the bitch. Went to the store before washing and said 333 miles till empty, which empty ain’t empty. Tow truck just picked it up and is headed to the stealership, under warranty.

So update on my truck. They called and I talked to the guy working on it...told him what it did. Later today the guy calls me says it’s fixed. Apparently I had bad batteries [emoji2373]. Truck never acted like it had bad batteries so apparently these trucks need more voltage. I did have something going on last week, looked at the clock on the screen and it was in military time. Changed it back and thought someone changed the setting. I guess this was the first clue. Anyway she’s back w two new batteries and 3 recalls completed. No charge from the stealership, but I’m betting they were licking their chops for later services lol
Must be nice, I can't even get a call back from our dealership...the guy originally dealing with ours is on vacation this week. So....consumer/customer gets fucked. Thanks again GM! This will likely be our last GM product. I haven't been impressed.
Any other GM dealerships within a decent drive near you? If so I’d hit them up next time.
Twitter, FB, and talk loud while in the dealership when it’s crowded.... Blast em on social media. GM also... That’ll get their attention...

New vehicles SUCK.... Today they make them so complicated that they are always back at the dealership for one thing or another... Problem is your average backyard mechanic just can't figure out or fix these problems... Gone are the old days when you'd swap out a set of points and could set them with a cover from a pack of matches... I have a problem with my F-150 currently... Intermittent miss.... I think it goes along with another problem that pops up every now and again... I can be cruising along at 65-70 mph and all of a sudden I lose power RPM goes down to nothing... Don't stall or anything, just no power... Pull off road and shut off engine and re-start... Starts right up with full power and off I go... It has happened 4 times in the last 2 years... Brought it up with Ford and they are puzzled... I'm leaning towards fuel pump issues... Just ordered the " fuel pump driver module" and will get my hands dirty this weekend... If this doesn't fix it guess I'll get fuel pump changed...
