Mason is on the ground under the stand I’m perched in. He’s trying to get his first with a recurve. This deer has been within feet of him. I’d have shot it because it doesn’t look like a fawn to me, or at least didn’t. He had a much better look from about five feet so he didn’t kill it. Mom must be in the thicket with a buck He’s grunting.

Crappy cell service this morning so couldn’t check in. I saw two big does by themselves eating acorns and Allen saw 5, 2 of which were small bucks. Out this evening after hanging the last stand I had hoped to get up before November.
We're out again. Glenna has that shit I had but insisted on coming out. Landlord boggled our spot...trying for a different buck..... he a good'n though. Good Luck Everyone!

Blind hunting isn’t as enjoyable as being high up in a tree but it is very effective.
I bowed out and change the oil in the four-wheeler and my truck. Hopefully the sniffles and coughing are gone fast

Saw 13 slickheads, pulled the Xbow up 3 times, even switched the safety off once. No shots fired
Had a couple 2.5 year old 8 points hang around the last hour of daylight
I'm out. Big lone doe came in for a bit about a 1/2 hr ago.
