'SHYBUCK' just came through @4:20 p.m.

3 o'clock from my right, and passed me just on the other side of the PLB, totally within bow range, broadside at 25 yards. Cruised in from the open field to the South. He's the buck that hangs with THUNDER usually. I estimate he too is a 3+ year old eight point with nice tall tines, good mass, but still a small basket. He got the free pass. I want him too to make it another year or two.

I tried to get a better photo of him, but I have my gloves on and that doesn't make it easy to operate this silly cellphone quickly. Oh well, maybe he'll work his way back for a 'Take II' opportunity.

I’m not great at judging deer, but you think he’s only 130s? That’s a no brainer for me. Hope you smoke him next year and get rewarded for your patience my man 👊
He has short tines. I passed him last year as a 9 point. I have no problem holding onto a tag. I enjoy the hunt more than the kill. But he could be a lowlight “mistake”. Although there would be no shame taking him home.
