Good wind for both properties I hunt this am. Hunting spot 1 now, have had a couple does in here every other day around 9, and they’re due. If nothing happens here I’ll skip out and head to property 2. Handful of does showing up daily between 12 and 3 pm, as well as a unique piebald bearded hen. Need some meat for the freezer, and I’d really like to have a tag filled going into gun season. Good luck to everyone that’s out. 1/2” of snow here that’s dissipating quickly.

Slipped into spot 2 almost completely silently, best wind possible for the approach and stand here. Pulled my card and checked it, they were in here yesterday morning around 9:30, nothing since. Hopefully they make their usual midday appearance, otherwise Thursday morning is my last opportunity to fill an archery tag prior to gun.

Well I didn’t see any deer, but I did harvest my first archery turkey so I’m pretty stoked about that!! Did some soft calls to them and they slowly filtered in after watching them for nearly an hour. Certainly not the biggest but she’ll be tasty come Thursday

Didn’t see any shooter bucks and getting tired of leaving bow on hanger so i shot a doe today to fill the freezer [emoji16][emoji16]gonna make some good jerky too
