As I was walking in I saw two deer within the picked cornfield. One large bodied deer in the middle of cornfield & one smaller near the furthest edge to the South. I watched them both slowly graze while leaving the field to the East into the woods as I hiked to my tree, approx. 80yrds. to the North of where they went in.

@7:30 a.m. I watched that same large bodied deer get up from its bed, approx. 70yrds. SE, and head NE through the thick pines. I believe he was a good buck.

@8:00 a.m., 4 Wild Turkeys popped over the top of the North hill at the end of the pines within the woods.

15 minutes later, a young buck follows. I watched the young guy casually enter the thick pines to the NE and cruised right along the edge of it, passing me @50-55yrds., straight out in front of me, and continued onward to the South, then finally out of sight by 8:35 a.m.

Those 4 Wild Turkeys grazed throughout the picked cornfield for about an hour, then entered back into the woods, South of me, approx. 100yrds. away. I expect to see them again here shorthly, making their way back North to the area where I've been seeing them the past two days in the late afternoon hours.

@9:30a.m., one young antlerless at the corn pile to the NW @25yrds. within the cornfield, while three other antlerless deer were to the SE, right along the edge of the thick pines. They all just regrouped again, and then casually walked into the thick pines, heading East, NE, away from me.

So far, seems to be actioned packed.

Gonna make a whole day out of it with the bow.

Good luck to anyone else that is 'TOO' hunting today!

Two antlerless & two small bucks chasing. One @10 & the other three @11, all got just within bow range, but no real shot opportunity.

Broke for lunch in the pickup, eating sandwitches & drinking coffee, plus getting warmed back up. Temps are definitely falling & the E-NE winds picked up big time.

I'll be back in the tree by 1. Deer activity is good today.

I'll kill somethin before E.O.D.

I am always down to hunt, but no. I was just curious about your location because I have had the same sort of activity the past few days down here in guernsey. My father in law hasn’t seen shit in coshocton the last six sits this week, hence my curiosity. Sounds like a pretty incredible spot though!

It's all good, 'chance'. Just messing around, and I get it.

Two more deer since I answered your question. One @3:30 & the next @3:40 that traced the first since lunch. Expecting more to happen here shortly cause the wind just laid down and it's pretty much prime time, from now until quitting time.

Best of luck to you the rest of the deer season!

Pressured deer where they'll hide. Driving around with the snow creeping at 35 today I believe I spooked a buck enough to make him stand up. He is in waste high to chest high single season growth grasses. I turned around to get a picture but he laid right back down. Just an acre lot with no hunting. He will get snow thrown on him from a plow truck he's so close to the road but you'd never know he's there.

Right in the very middle of the photograph above, approximately 40yrds. away, just SE of me, there's a big bodied deer that just bedded. I can't see the head through my binoculars though, shit in the way, and,,, and, I have another deer currently making its way to me from the NE, slowly through the thick pines. I'm more focused though on that bedded big bodied deer at the moment.
