Its a "family" gun, passed down from my grandfather. I only take it out on fair weather days. I've only taken 1 deer with it and he crashed where he stood. Further research since my last posted hunt some years back determined this Model 1893 was made in 1902.
I wouldn't sell it for any amount of money. I just wish it could talk.

That's what my brother said.... Nope... Family hand me down and won't part with it... I think his shells were Old Dominion.....

Packing everything up, stand, blind & the two deer, #4 & 5.

Holding off for #6 for muzzy, then I'll be done, done! State bag limit.

I stand corrected. I was done @9:53 a.m., NOT 10:53. Oops...

Anyways, the stand, the blind & both the TCs are packed in the pickup now. Heading to field dress both the deer next, then I'll be hauling them out, one by one, with the toboggan sled. Getting my workout in this afternoon.

I'd say about another hour or so before I pull out of here, trucking my butt home.

Both are going to be good eaters, that is for sure.

Snow this week has my schedule jacked up. I woke up to turn the alarm off. Watching football. Might go out this afternoon. Might not. There is a buck I'd be proud to shoot. This is year two for him on the farm. I sorta want to out him on the wall but I sorta want to find his sheds again. As a 4yr old next year he will be amazing. He is already a "shooter."
