FUCK THE VA!!! My Primary at the local CBOC (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) retired nearly 2 months ago. And she STILL hasnt been replaced. Trying to make an appointment for some issues and I cant even get in. Why cant I just go to a civilian Dr and send the VA the fuckin bill?

Didn’t they make some changes a couple years ago that said if you cannot get an appointment in a specific time period you can go to a provider outside the VA for treatment?

I could be mistaken but I thought that was part of the VA reform bill that Trump signed.

Looks like if they cannot give you an appointment within 20 days of you requesting one then you qualify for Community Care.
