Just like the vaccine companies waiting til after the election to announce the vaccines were ready, he kept his vaccination quiet because it all was being used as a political tool and he wanted no part of it IMO.
Trumps operation "Warp Speed" was successful in the development of the vaccines but the distribution system wasn't - not a opinion

Hmm, with all the other outbreaks and vaccinations we have had in the last 20 years you woulda thought he would have had it running perfectly smooth <sarcasm> I would imagine a lot of that revolved around the vaccination companies being hush hush and not releasing it before the election or perhaps giving dates when it would be ready for distribution - not all an opinion

So they distributed the first 2.9 million doses to 581 sites in 50 states in just three days. Rollout was going just fine, and would have continued to do so, a new inauguration traditionally throws a wrench in a lot of things and current presidents love to blame the last guy.

Pfizer is stating 91% efficacy at the 6 month mark. Note though that the method for determine this appear to be identification of symptomatic infection and not immune response antibody counts. Meaning it's not absolute and there is room for missed diagnosis to sway the numbers. Either way it's better than nothing for the at risk population. .

I have a neutral suggestion. Prior to making a decision on whether to receive or pass on the shot(s), you might want to Google and then read the EUA for each company's shot(s). They are roughly 6 pages of what I would consider as vital information! You may want to print out and review as well as share with folks close to you.
Another study you might consider is the difference between EUA and actual FDA approval.
