It's on here. But the stripped cucumber beetles have once again destroyed my cucumbers. I need to combat them next year. I'll get enough for 4-5 quarts of pickles, but will need to supplement with more from our local farm stand.

That makes good sense. I was thinking before it fruits though. I'm not sure of the cucumber bug you speak of.
Even before fruit, they'll scratch out onions and peak at the leaves of stuff. They got out a week after planting and did serious damage in 3 hours time. I wish they could be trusted though.

@Bankfish, how's things going?
Sllooowwww. Cucumbers suck, tomatoes seem dormant, peppers are coming on, beans too. Farmer killed my potatoes overspraying. Been a tough season. But.....I haven't put much effort into it either. Busy at work, side jobs, around the house... you know, life! Lol. Hopefully yours does better than mine. Looking like I'll have to hit up the local farm market to can some things.

Man I was hoping that wasn't the case, but I get it.

Hoping things turn around for ya or you make some bank/memories instead of in the garden time. All about priorities!

Dad has had the tiller for 3 weeks, so my weeding went to hell. In the same time frame, this garden quadrupled in size. Corn went from knee high to head high in 2 weeks it seems. Tomatoes went from stalled to exploded overnight after all that rain we had. I've never seen so many maters on a plant and all 40 of them are loaded! This is the first time I've not had Romas in cages and I'll never go back. They look so much better this year! Even got to see a local honey bee doing work on our corn.

Man oh man, another 2.2" of rain last night and it's still coming down. Just plugged in the water pump to start moving as much water as possible to try and reduce the amount of underwater time possible. Will grab a picture once it stops pouring in another hour or sođŸ˜«

Was able to start harvesting a few items yesterday, may need a raft to get to the rest over the next day or so.

Watermelons, pumpkins and sunflowers are experiencing running water over them. Bush beans, pole beans, all peppers and most of the corn is currently under water. I thought the last few days were bad, this could be the final nail if I cant get them dry as fast as possible. Goal today is remove as much standing water as possible.

View of water source from neighbors to the E.....flash flooding water flow is now understood lol. Garden location is ideal, now just need some time to see what a normal year of precip looks like and does to it in this location. Wet spring and summer data collected.
