Fucking karma.
Skipping a beat today...
This happened around year two and after a lot of research, I pulled the back off and snipped the connection at a specific spot on the circuit board. It fixed it and it's been 8 years no issues. It just reset itself during a commercial break, but this is the second time today. Could be a network/Roku/YouTube issue, but it's an identical issue to what I fixed before. I'd love to know how many hours are on this thing, but it's well into the thousands.
As much as I don't really want to buy a new TV, when I do, I'm looking forward to an upgrade.
Samsung. But... I also have a 55" TCL Roku TV and it's solid. But the 60" Samsung in our living room is 11 years old and has never skipped a beat. Same TV is $500 now and MSRP was $2K when it came out. Crazy how prices have dropped and tech/quality have only gone up.
