We have a new corn supplier just down the road. Local family that owns a sawmill and they opened a mulch/gravel/firewood depot and now have straw and "deer corn". I'll be spot checking their price in the next week or two.
Could be. My thought was start just before rut to keep the does that stay on me in a concentrated, predictable area thereby, in theory, attracting the bucks to the same area. Could be flawed logic, idk
Think of yourself as the American government. Keep the handouts coming and they will fold into your lap. 
Earned permission for land access for hunting!

Been feeding them again. Slowly started with just minerals a few months back. Added corn, apples and peaches this weekend. Buddy put a cell cam on it. Trying to create an easy access spot for his 78 year old dad to hunt.
Brushed in 2 blinds today...little on the warm and muggy side out there.

Downright shitty out there yesterday. Access routes, food plots, and shooting lanes and I earned every second of it.

Those temps definitely picked up after my recon and TC hangs last Saturday morning. Going to be a bitter hot week too, and doesn't appear it will cool back down until next Monday.

Clearing trees + sweltering heat and humidity = major sweat equity.
Getting my ducks in a row. I’m in the planning stages of a large habitat project here at my home farm. Soon there will be a bridge here that provides access to the east side of the farm without having to drive around the block. Concrete abutments, 50-ft steel I-beams, and a 6” concrete deck x 12-ft wide. Can’t wait!

I've dumped apples in the last 3 weeks. (Not like I used to). Mineral blocks were down to nothing, so I replentished them. Finally assembled a 5 yr old double stand as well.

The pollinator blends are great. So underrated from a deer attraction standpoint. Good to see you’re thinking outside the box, Rick!
Finally got a chance to go check 2 of my cams that have been sitting for 2 months with dead batteries 
. I did move one of the cams to a more strategic spot and changed the batteries, though lol. 
being in the woods today, that was miserable

Sorta Cheating JB...Pollinator Mix is free from landowner. Plus it was recommended by the forestry fellows. Still I'll do the work for a free food plot.
