It will populate the two WMA "permits" needed to access the LSRWR NOT to HUNT or FISH - those licenses are needed as well to do either.

Good stuff above.

For FL you need two things if hunting / fishing in a designated WMA.

1) a License to Hunt and/or Fish in the state of FL

and

2) Permits to access the specific Wildlife Management Area to hunt/fish. In this case the LSNWR Permit.

The steps/process to get #2 done is as follows:

Every person do do either #1 or #2 online you will have to create an account starting here:

- and purchase... You have a LSRNWR WMA permit - now you need a FL hunting and/or fishing license - SIMPLE!!! LoL!

IF anyone has issues getting the actual HUNTING/FISHING license ask away - I'm a certified Hunting Safety instructor for FL so I can help with the mild stuff.. LoL...

@Stressless - if you change the file type of your images to *.jpeg, people will be able to see them, otherwise they are unviewable on the forum. By changing the file image type, it shouldn't ruin the file or image quality, just the type.

Thought I'd pass that little bit of info out if you wish to go back and edit your posts so people can view the example attachments.

Strange as PNG is an allowable upload type. I'll have to check that out if there was an issue.

@Chancegriffis do you guys have to check in and out of WMAs? Here in MS you either have to sign in at the check in boards or use the app on your phone.

No sir, no check in or check out. There pretty relaxed about most things there. Very backwoods feel but all of the wardens there and the refuge director Andrew Gude, is a phenomenal guy and will treat you with respect and like family! If y’all have any questions, you can also contact him! He will surely help with anything!

Strange indeed. I can't view any of the *.png files that chance posted prior to stressless post. Both on my cellphone or my desktop.

In fact, your dice post is the only one I've ever been able to view being that type of file type. Perhaps some type of security level setting, admin verses user of who can actually post such a file type, IDK?

Truthfully, it all depends on what kind of hunting you want to do. If you’re anything like me when it comes to pigs I like to spot and stalk. I hate sitting in a stand and waiting for them. But to each their own. Spot and stalk, shotgun is key. Stand hunting .30-.30 all day. Whatever you’re most comfortable with

This was my last hunt down there, would be 2 hogs seasons ago. I look a lot different with a short beard! Lol my dad my buddy now and I went on a morning walk and got one down in about an hour and a half that afternoon. Gonna show a little bit of terrain and kinda what to expect out of the way I hunt them. From zero to one hundred real quick. Shot at two hogs on that sequence. I dropped mine, second shot missed the second one and so did Noah. He walked up and put another one in it, I closed the deal with the G23 to the noggin! MAN I CANT WAIT

@Chancegriffis @Jackalope , I can probably still pull this trip off as long as ya'll can help me drag and skin since I am one handed! Anyone else going from Ohio want to ride down together and split gas?
I did the same thing years ago cutting up a deer for my brother. Hit my hand with a meat clever. It wasn't one of my best moments. Got stitched up that night and was told to take it easy until I got into the specialist. It was gun season so I kept hunting like a dumbass, ended up having surgery later that week and they had to cut into my wrist to pull my tendons back down to reattach then to my thumb. Good luck with the hogs guys.

Very cool share, thanks!

The hogs hunts I did was a decade ago and I shot three at the time. Two with my Mathews compound, one heading to the stand, second from the stand and finally the third with my Marlin 30-30, and I was done by 8:30 a.m. The property owner couldn't believe that I was done either, thinking I only shot one instead of three. My hunting buddies hunted the rest of the three days with only one of them getting two, and that was with my Marlin that I let him borrow cause he said he had issues with his rifle. I ended up fishing the Ozarks the rest of the days and did really good doing that too, landing plenty. I had a blast the entire time and miss those kinds of hunts.

I did film my second arrowed kill, however it got lost over the years of data clean up. I still may have it someplace, but I haven't made any valid attempt to locate it again since the last time, which was years ago.

I'd love to make the trip that you so wonderfully are offering, but IDK if I'll be able to pull it off, but I haven't given up on the idea either as of yet.

Thanks again for sharing and best to luck to all those that will be attending! Have a blast fellas!!
