I’m sticking with my original prediction with Georgia winning it all in a close one. Saban will once again prolly prove me wrong but I just think Georgia has a better all around team but Smart just isn’t as smart as the man, the myth the LEGEND!
If Smart gets beat by Saban again he’ll prolly be on the hot seat. Pressure is on…

We'll see how good Ryan Day is the further out from Urbans players he gets.

Day can’t do any worse with his players than he did with the shit show of a defensive personnel he had this year! Hoping this new DC acquired from Okie St brings better coaching, fundamentals and hunger to the unit. Anyone see that GA player last night run from the far side of the field to put a heck of a tackle on the UM running back in the flat behind the LOS? That is heart,hunger and athleticism. The Buckeyes defense lacked the first 2 the past couple years and that is a reflection of the coaching, IMO.
Oh, we will prolly get beat handily by the Utes tonight not because of players opting not to play but because our defensive woes on the field and sideline.

I did like the part of Smart shutting down the Gatorade bath, no celebration till they win the NC. I still think it will be a good game and Saban out smarts the dogs. These are the 2 best teams and proven.

The 2 best teams are playing for the Natty. Bama wasn’t near the team they are now during the first 5-6 weeks but they’ve improved and were coached up like what is supposed to happen and are playing great team football. Young’s talent around him is what got him the trophy.

Why even show up to the game if you're not gonna play. Its a slap in the face to all the fans and players who have supported these athletes and school during their career. Imo. You not only hurt the team you hurt the future of the school thru recruiting when you lose big games.

And it could of happened the first game of the season as well as the last. It’s all part of what you work your whole life for and sign on the dotted line…. Giving up on your team for the last game speaks volumes of what the next level can expect outta them….

Yep, he could get hurt in his first pro game too. What I really don't like, and no way I'd allow it as a coach, but the players that opted out were on the sideline. You don't want to play, you don't participate at all.

I see it as those players opting out have nothing if its not for the teammates, coaches, fans and the college itself they are representing. Finish your career by playing the game you signed up to play.

That is some serious cliche' cynicism. Please tell me you don't actually believe that? It is also patently false when you are part of team of dedicated people, whether in sports, at work, church, or just within your family. I don't know how people with such a dismal view of the world function. It's hard enough to get through the day when you have hope and positivity. Good grief, just look around this place and tell me nobody is looking out for each other. People here help out people they've never even met!
