Leaf sumatra.... impressively good smoke especially when the thunder chickens aren't cooperating.

If anyone is up in the Findlay area there's a really nice cigar shop and the owner Jay has never led me wrong once i tell him what i like. He does tend to favor pretty strong robust flavors.

@5Cent and @MoonLab got their minds blown by the Acid KUBA KUBAs this weekend. I enjoyed my first Flathead 554 and my first Man O' War Damnation this weekend. The 554 is a robust, strong wrapper, so you can manhandle that cigar and toke on it pretty heavy. I like it for a golf course cigar since it's built well and burns well. The MoW was a great campfire stogie. Good call ordering both.

The guys i smoked with in Afghanistan loved the kuba kuba cigars, and acid cigarillos are what got this habit going past black and milds. But I've had a lot of construction/smoking issues with them falling apart, spooning really badly but they are a nice smooth easy smoke.

Man of wars that I've tried have all been too strong for my liking.

I'm very much a flavorful but medium strength kind of guy.

Hoping to make a night or two in July and share some with y'all.

I had a nice smoke with a former All American football player at the University of Michigan last night at the home of my BIL’s deck party last night. His name is Dave Chester and he played under Bo Shembeckler(if I spelled wrong ? Don’t care😎). He helped block for Jim Harbaugh and won two Rose Bowls. He now works with Miami University in Oxford Ohio. He’s a neighbor of my BIL. We talked Buckeyes and Wolverines football for over an hour. We enjoyed a smoke together, I had a robusto Cohiba. He had a few Rio’s I think. He said he’s been enjoying cigars for 15 plus years. He played back when Chris Carter and Chris Spielman played for the Buckeyes. Here’s a pic of us last night after some beers enjoying a stoogie….🤟🏻
