Finally got around to pulling my backyard camera card awhile back and had these visitors back by my targets back in late February.

I finally got a good colony of Purple Martins this spring/summer and have been enjoying them in the AM before it gets too hot.
This AM was the same except a large pod of dolphins was hanging around blowing up after mullet every so often. I saw one getting ready to get after one and got a decent capture of a 150# or so flipper getting breakfast right in my bayou backyard.
Okay - Did a trick to make Youtube post the video as regular instead of the "Short" but the processor here or feeding it doesn't like it so you have to click watch on youtube... unless it's coming thu on others browsers...

The crow were nursing back to health…..something is wrong with his wing…..and his deer buddies.
FYI fire ants SUCK!!! I was helping my son clear some bushes and I got into a fire ant hill. I was stupidly wearing crocs and got about 20 bites on one foot.

I look for those little bastards every time I cut the grass. Any mound gets nukes that day. Haven’t been hit by one yet, hopefully it’ll stay that way.
Get a tarp or something similar, hold it in front of you so he can’t make you out. Drop it over the trap, grab the handle. Walk it too where there’s a water source or put it in the truck bed and carefully drive it too the water source. Drop and wait for the bubbles too quit. Then wait 5 minutes more

Tarp or not, that thing wasn't going in the back of my Jeep.

I was returning from my daily bicycle ride yesterday afternoon and was 100 yards from the driveway when I saw I coyote trotting along my wood line heading towards the road. Darn thing hit the road about 3 feet ahead of me and I touched the brakes, the front brake squealed and that's the first he saw me. It was comical how it damn near turned itself inside out turning around.

With the deep freeze coming up filled the feeders for the critters.
I've been starting to put the oriole jelly out, just one issue...a tree rat likes the jelly. A lot. As in, eats it all in seconds and leaves. As you can see, it wasn't hard for him to reach the jelly.
So Plan B, I bent the hook thinking it would hang out far enough the squirrel couldn't easily get it. Mr. Squirrel says "Hold my beer."
Plan C, installation of spike strips along the rail where the squirrel was reaching out from to the feeder. So far, so good.
Friggin squirrels.

Squirrels never bother our feeders, but neither do the Orioles that nest here. Maybe this year they will eat some jelly.
