Found some chanterelles and oysters this morning. Went well with grilled ribeyes, baked potatoes, and sautéed asparagus for supper!
Venison burgers and deep fried Chanterelles.

Shrooms must be in full swing, I'm seeing them posted everywhere!!
Lunch today, fresh seared tuna, fresh shrimp, fresh Andouille sausage, and a salad.
Id rank a good cooked tuna like u have there with any red meat cut. Hell of a meal u did up.
Blue gill with some of the sweetest sweet corn I have ever had!
BLT (with the wonderful addition of caramelized red onions, fried egg and cheese) and my second batch of liquid heaven a.k.a. Chanterelle mushroom soup. I did a better job of cooking it this time, added a little more Brandy and Saffron, too. This soup is just amazing.
Excuse me!!!! HELLO?!?!?! I’m sittin’ right here!!!!! Do I have to start whimpering? I know you got something up there in your lap that is far better than that shit you pour into my bowl!
That damn thing has the worst table manners. If it's watching the wife eat, it'll bark. Fortunately for it, it doesn't make a sound when it watches me.
