Another doe. Very laid back lazy morning. The deer all look like they had a full night of bar hopping and stopped by the omelette shop for breakfast before going to bed.

Yes they do and I found out I have to take the osha 10 hour construction safety class November 8 and 9 obviously no one here hunts lol
I'm routinely taking the long way to work nowadays and saw some big old nanny does near public today. One was an absolute dinosaur! Got me thinking of getting all ridiculous just to kill a doe on public

I’m with ya Mike, I just can’t get out till mid to late next week and I’m jelly but I started seeing a pattern develop

I'm not hunting tonight...T-ball. Hoping Tyler lets me bat leadoff. NOT going tomorrow morning but I will be hunting in the evening. Then 4 night shifts at work.I’m with ya Mike, I just can’t get out till mid to late next week and I’m jelly but I started seeing a pattern develop

I’m out. Mostly because I’m trying to burn myself out well before November apparently. On a different piece of public, hunted this spot last year and the number of does I saw was unreal. I thought it started raining halfway up the tree when a gust of wind blew through and started absolutely dumping acorns. Saw some on another tree walking in and a ton of acorn caps, these suckers are the size of quarters. Hopes are fairly high, finally have a west wind here so it should be perfect. Didn’t see any sign of any other people back here either so that’s a plus. Packed in the camera gear so we’re gonna try that too. Mosquitoes suck and it’s hot. This is stupid.
It's hot, it's sunny, the beans are just right. They've filled this field for the last 2 night's (white dots), while I watch from the yellow dot. Ambush attempt before the wind switches.
Good luck @5Cent. They’ve been crushing the beans every night around here too.

Backway to work netted 30 deer sightings, including a nice 2-year-old 8-point looking sideways at a big old nanny doe. They were on the move big time this AM!

Good luck to anybody going this afternoon. Going Saturday morning then off work next week! Just in time for the October lull here in Georgia.
