Funny you should say that. I sat there for a while trying to figure out who she reminded me of.
Or maybe not funny. I've seen her report before. Didn't know anything about her. Didn't know any of her history.
Buckeyes defense is not where they need to be. Thorne deserves credit though. He has placed 3-5 perfect balls. Impressive accuracy. Our defender in perfect position. Just great balls. Between this and the penalties, Mi ST is finding some yards. Even a TD on the last drive. Time to tighten things up. Our offense is dismantling the Spartans defense, but in a big game our D will need to be better.
Prayers for the Mi State safety who was taken to the hospital. That one was scary. His thumbs up as they exited the field just about brought a tear to my eye. That was a scary scary scene.

If the DB’s weren’t taught to face guard and to turn their heads and play the ball like they were the receiver they’d have picked a few of those.

Not sure the thinking on this. In the 80s and 90s that is what we were taught. Receiver turns to look for the ball and so do you as a DB. On a double move that might get you burnt, but if you are in the endzone defending and see him turn his head. . . You should probably look for the ball. Lol
Hopefully Henderson is okay. Sounds like he and the safety for MSU will be okay. I'd just as soon see Alan Hayden, Mitch Rossi, and the rest of the backups see some touches. Never know when you will need them.

That was an "interesting" game today. 3 field goals, one TD, and a defensive TD I. The first half. Hats off to Iowa defense. They held us to FGs a ton in the first half. Our defense looked amazing all day, BUT Iowa's offense sucks this year. Good to see our offense make some changes in the second half and decide to start scoring touchdowns. CJ had a couple interceptions (although I think the one was called back due to a penalty). He had the fumble which was stripped and run into the endzone but Iowa. Not his best performance, but still Heisman contender level (in my opinion.) Putting up that many scores (even if they were FGs) against a tough Iowa defense is doing something.
Penn State is thumping Minnesota. I think next week is going to be a really good test for the Buckeyes.

Glad Stroud was able to put up some "Heisman numbers" in the 4th quarter already up 30 against a gassed defense by passing deep downfield.
I'm not sure what that means. Just laughable that your up by 30 in the 4th quarter still bombing it downfield to pad those heisman stats lol

I'd have a tougher time naming teams that would do it. Usually you're running the ball to milk the clock by then. Probably using 2nd team players to get them and some walkons some reps in front of the home crowd since they put work in too.
You guys would be tearing Ryan Day up if Stroud gets hurt in that situation, and rightfully so. Stroud isn't a mobile dude, he's not running away from alot of defenders.
Damn right he is. Dude is legit. I will give players their due. I still think its stupid to have your QB dropping back in the 4th up 30 and chucking it around
I can't disagree with that. I'm not sure it was "padding stats". I'm this case, we owed Iowa one from a few years ago. Guess who else we owe one to?
I'd be sour too if it had been 31 years since our offense had produced a Heisman-worthy offensive player. 
Ahh, had to throw the offense in there to really up the number lol. I was good after we beat you guys last year. First victory in forever and I had 2 choices: talk major shit or act like I been there before and wait for this year. I'm pretty comfortable with how we match up with OSU again this year. For all the hype about their "revamped" defense, they've not really played a good offense yet. In their defense, they've not looked like shit against any of them. Michigan's offense is built to neutralize teams like OSU. And I think our defense is good enough to do what we did last year. The real question is: Is Ryan Day committed enough to call a tough, physical, ugly game for 60 minutes. OSU has the horses to do itI'd be sour too if it had been 31 years since our offense had produced a Heisman-worthy offensive player.
To be real, both teams are good enough this year, it won't matter about tiny differences. This team is a little better at abc, but that team is better at xyz. That stuff won't matter. It will come down to heart, smart playing (turn overall and penalties), and coaching.
