Good luck to anyone out and about today. I’ve hunted once since i shot that button buck a couple weeks ago. Rutcation starts for me when i get off work at 0700 tomorrow. Headed souf for a few days. Staying at a buddy’s cabin in Cambridge, planning on hunting a new-to-me chunk of public SW of there. Fingers are crossed, ’tis the season!

One yearling buck was cruising at 11:00 am but nothing since then. Just threw in a chew to get me over the hump. Hopefully they’re on their feet and moving early tonight.

Back in. New spot, well… new stand on the neighboring property to where I had the encounter last night. Had him on cell cam two and a half hours ago working a scrape down here… wind is right! We shall see

First time sitting in and first time hunting deer out the blind I installed in Sep, I must say it really blows me away. I've had sun coming in but with the camo blinds turkey cant see me, I was waving, in the shade, still nothing. As close to invisible as I've ever been on the woods ans have only 2 2/3's windows blacked out and 5 1/3 with the camo up.

Then this happens.. girls gone crazy - turn up the volume LoL...
