Picked her up from school and she asked what we were doing tonight. Told her we'd hunt if she wanted to and her eyes lit up! There's been a nice little 8 point hanging around, so we're hoping to see him.

A 4 point wandered by. Then a 4 wheeler came up the point south of me and filled a feeder. Then went back down and came up point below me and filled another. Maybe 100 yards apart.
She says "I want to shoot it."
"That thing?!? Its a spike"
"Sure. I just want to shoot something."

Nothing until last light and then was surrounded by does drinking out of the creek. Then a nice buck came in to 25 yards it was to dark to be able to take a comfortable shot. I could see his rack well enough to know it was a good one so hopefully he will show up 15 minutes earlier next time
Nice job everyone! We got all our chores done so we could be open for November!
