Getting ready to head out

Slow night on the cams, but I'm up on hours for the week with another long day today, so I'm headed out to sit until 10. Zero expectations, but it'll be good to make my first November sit and drink my coffee from a tree.

We are in. Buddy is climbing a tree just off the trail 100 yds from me, I am sitting in an oak dead fall in the ghillie. I don’t have very high expectations but we are also within a few hundred yards of where I saw the biggest buck of my life a few years ago. We will see. Good luck everyone

Tis purdy froggy here this AM. Wind has more N in it than I'd like for the spot, but the thermals should keep me covered. I know there are does close by and the scrape here is the hottest on the farm. If it happens this morning, it'll be in the next hour. Still beats being in my office!
No pressure, but don't fugg it up this time! Lol

Wet and foggy. Can’t see 50 yards. If anything happens it’s going to be up close and intense.

Absolutely the coolest morning to be in the woods with this fog. Almost like a sci-fi movie , I can envision a manbearpig emerging from the fog at any second. Good luck fellas!

Back after a day off, forecast to calm no wind at all day which is good, bucks gotta move to get the scent, not just cruise the upwind side- well I'm hoping that's the case.
Ling range wx forecast is shit, shitty and more shit... that cold front on the 7th keeps slipping to the right...

The wind directions and lack of activity in my area pushed me back to work the last couple of days. That, and I was ready for a short break after hitting it 6 days in a row. Wind is supposed to turn this afternoon so I’ll be back in for the evening bite.
