How many dumbass pills did you take this morning? We are the same height. Only I can get about 3' closer before my stomach touches. Which means I can reach higher.

I called another local gun shop and they said to call Henry and bitch to them. So I did. First thing the lady asked was what model I was looking for, within seconds she told me the best way to find one.

It gives a live inventory across the internet. Typed in the model H012, heres the results

Shows results with cheapest listed first.

I have an account with them and used them once in while when I had a specific need. It worked out for me in each case/item I was after, and this was within the last year too.

Also, gunbroker as well.

Putting a modern rifle scope on a lever-action is like putting a Vortex on a flintlock. :cautious: 🚫

@Dustinb80
I'd give Sportsman's Den, in Shelby a call. They've always surprised me with what they have in stock with decent prices too. 👍 If you're open to 45 LC, there are a few more available. 45 LC ballistics are very similar to 44 Mag.
This is the only 44 Mag. lever-action that I could find, online.

Lots to catch up on here, but @Dustinb80 i love my Marlin in 45-70. Shoulder hits drop deer, everything else has gone a max of 20. Taking it to Idaho for bear and elk next year. I put a bushnell trs25 on it and couldnt be happier with the functionality. Beautiful and easy. In 2021 i hit a doe running broadside full speed out of a deer drive, in the throat, wouldve never killed her with any other optic or irons. For some reason i also love the look, although originally bought for the nostalgia, i like the blend of classic and modern since i hunt with it often. My wife has also killed deer with it and loves it.

Hmmm... This place has several different models in a Henry, while every other place is out of stock... Sounds too good to be true... Dustin you should call as soon as they open...

I did some looking for a 45/70 and they also are impossible to find... GunBroker seems to be the only place you my find one...

Barbers gun shop in Westfield pa has at least one lever action .45-70 as they just advertised it on Facebook a few days ago. They are also a “Henry rifle top 100 dealer” for the nation.
