I don't worry much about it to be honest. They are comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Not to mention........ Damnit Buttmaster!!! :smiley_blackeye:

In all seriousness though, I do not worry about the bright colors. I rarely see turkeys while bowhunting, let alone close enough to screw up my deer hunt some how. But you gotta do what you gotta do. That applies to the people making this stuff TOO. Plenty of chicks eat that shit up, so they keep on making it. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess you are not a big fan of Tiffany Lakosky? LOL! I only am when I can watch the bowfishing video of her on mute!!! :smiley_crocodile:

I have two compounds i hunt with a hoyt katera and a hoyt crx 32. Everything on my hoyt crx 32 is black. Everything on the katera is realtree apg. The crx is my deer hunting and 3d bow. The katera is for stalking bear and elk and has a whisker biscuit. My arrows wear black and green vanes for hunting and green and orange for practice. if im hunting with a trad bow i dress a lot like mr fred bear. I guess im not overly worried about colors unless im stalking.

i got bright fletchings only because helps to notice where the arrow is incase of missed shots, other then that colors dont bother me, hell half the time if im in a rush to get in the woods ill wear what i have on, last year my buddy shot one wearing white shoes bluejeans and black carhart coat, but could just be all luck of not moving an inch when deer are close might help a lil, whos knowsome deer just might be to curios or just on a dead mission to get somewhere to even care whats in there way

Thats just it - for deer, anything that breaks up you human outline is fine, they cant see color. Ive done the same. Its the turkey that can see better and will give you away is where Im getting at. Ive had turkey and deer come in together more often than i wanted. Turkey are a great confidence decoy for deer but if they see you and alert...the deer will go with them. I understand about finding your arrow - and I use them myself but dont like loud obtrusive colors on anything if I can avoid it for the turkeys sake

Turkeys can see color, BUT it does not spook them. There are states that still make you wear Hunter Orange and they kill turkeys all day. Its movement that spooks them.

Dont believe that one at all. Jus sayin

Trees, Bushes and Weeds dont stay green all year.A Turkey will walk thru a punkin patch and even dig up your pretty COLORFUL flowers til one of them moves and spooks it. Not to pull my own chain, But up until last year, I ate, breathed and lived for Turkeys. 47Full fans (3 species) from 9 differant states. The whole idea about full camo and Turkey hunting is for your safety, not to fool the turkey. To prove this point, Turkey sesson comes in Monday and me and the wife will be hunting all week and I will post pics of her with her bird and I will tell you now she will have something with pink on it.
