Last year on the first of October I had 2 nice 8pts on cam at djs stand. We were hunting the public. Well this morning one of them showed up at djs again.

Hopefully he gives us an opportunity during gun season this year.

Bunch of squirrels and one spike. The weather isn’t right but will be soon. We hunting our plan c spots while the hunting is not good. Will try in the morning.

Yes wind hasn’t change direction nor the weather. Just had a cow horn spike walk up from behind me next to my tree. My stand harness is at the base of the tree and he walks downwind of it and stops, looks at it and up the tree and busted . I didn’t move, got a short video and I’m up 26’. Wind is blowing from my left to right.

And here comes the rain! F me! I do have a tree umbrella but don’t want to set it up. This is the kind of weather to kill a big buck, you know stick one and then the rain comes washing the blood away.
