Got 7" of snow overnight and still coming down so another cup of coffee and warm up the quad and get to plowing. Hope it slows for an evening sit. good luck to those going out today.
I think I'm the only one on here that knows you aren't white.
Come on Phil. I'm calling that a total bust for everyone except the resident testiphile.Cameras slow. Woods slow. I did spy a young buck licking his junk 100yds thru the trees though. Not a total bust.
How is that ever calm working out? I’ve tried it but the jury is still out.Too windy for a tree and not enough motivation to go on a walkabout, so I stayed close to home. Will bail for lunch and some errands, then I'll decide how to spent my afternoon. Comfort for the win today. And I saw a buck 2 minutes after I got in the blind, so it'll statistically as good a day as yesterday

Nice work Mike!
Like American Express, I don't leave home without it. My first hunt using it was in 2012 and I killed a 5.5 year old buck at 8 steps after he'd walked down my 3 hour old access route. Been sold ever since and use it liberally with great results. I even smear it on licking branches. To me, it's the most deer-smelling scent I've ever smelled. How is that ever calm working out? Do you apply it to your boots or just the area in and around your blind/stand?Like American Express, I don't leave home without it. Congrats Mike. Hopefully this means you're feeling better.
Both. I apply a quick smear to the bottom of my boot, then once I'm in the stand, I'll smear some on my treestand/blind/tree. I usually leave the cap off so it can continue to waft its deery goodness during the hunt.Do you apply it to your boots or just the area in and around your blind/stand?
