Left over ham and bean soup.

Sous vide 3 smoked ham hocks and 2 ham bones for 3 days. They pulled apart in my hands after i cooled them in the fridge for a day or two. A bag of great northern beans and seasonings. Kept it covered in chicken stock.

So much gelatin came out of them that the left overs solidify like headcheese in the fridge.

Also made cornbread in my cast iron with bacon grease.

Decided not to hunt today, weather sucks and back hunting. So I’m cooking a pot of acorn sparrows (aka wood ducks). Doubt I will send a plate pic but here is a couple pics for now.

Can’t forget my souix chef that stands in cold water to swim and get the birds and deliver to hand that never complains unless we miss 😂

Deer steaks cut into slivers and fried with this year's red yellow and green peppers , then simmered in tomato basil and rice served on a bed of mashed tators. One of those I have no plan for dinner and just start grabbing shit out of the freezer nights :ROFLMAO: it actually came out tasting great!
