Rained out all day today. Slept in for the first time in a couple weeks, washed some hunting clothes, got caught up on a few chores, and cooked a nice dinner for Nancy. Fried cabbage with chopped bacon and homemade Rebel smoked sausage. Heavy on the bacon drippings and ghee.

Wife made lasagna soup…. Definitely one of those I think we’ll do that again….

Picked up a crawfish sack of oysters. They all was eaten raw!

Went got all these to make 2 lbs crab legs, half pound sea scallops, shrimps, two cold water lobsters and biscuits.

Par boiled around 20 squirrels last night at deer camp in preparation of a fried squirrel dinner with sweet taters and gravy tonight. I brought 42 of the sonsabitches.

Stuffed jalapeño peppers in the oven and about done. Lol
Deer camp is so much fun it’s hard to leave but with rain on the way guys will be back in for breakfast around 10 till play euchre, golf, bowling on the TV like we just finished playing. Time to recharge for tomorrow’s time around camp. Gonna skin and boil my skull tomorrow as well.

Stopped at my buddy Gavin’s camp for supper last night and pork tongue was on the stove. Sure was good.
