Kidney stones

Well I joined the kidney stone club around 1:00 am this morning. I started to have a pain in my left testicle, which intensified in pain. Started reading that a kidney stone can manifest as pain in the testicle because the shared nerve pathways.

I thought I was going to die, it was like being kicked in balls for 3.5 hours. I thought I was going to get sick. If I had not remembered the oxy they had for my mother I would have gone to the ER.

This was way worse than either of my shoulder surgeries.

Now we wait for clink of the stone on the toilet.

Did you go get a MRI or X-ray? You need to make sure it is small enough to pass. If the pain is bad and then all of a sudden stops, thatโ€™s a sign that the stone went to the bladder, which is good because your next piss will probably expel the stone. Hope you feel betterโ€ฆthat pain is no joke.

No I had some oxy that took and was able to sleep some, then when I woke up I was a little sore, I have peed several times and I am not sure if I passed it or not.

Clay please be careful. Kidney stones can make you incredibly life threateningly sick pretty quick sometimes. No joke they can be the sickest patients at times (doesn't take much to obstruct a ureter and send you into kidney failure, or sepsis and make you very unstable and on all sorts of drips) and give me more stress trying to keep them alive than visually any other case I do.

Hope you feel better

I would not depend on Google search for answers. I had stepped wrong in a hallway once and my nuts flipped. Went to the docs and got lucky that I didn't need surgery. Not saying that is what happened to you, but I'd want answers from testing of soke sort. Not searching the webs, you can find any answer you want to look for.

Good to know, what are the signs to look for as a well find today, just a little sore
I had lower back pain, pain so severe in my testicles that I thought I mighta been raped by Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy and was giving birth to a pinecone through my cock. Felt like the entire football team lined up and took turns kicking my sack. Also got very nauseous a couple of times. Bad part is that the ER can only give you pain meds or admit you if your white blood cell count is too high. I spent 5 days in the hospital because of that. They said I was dangerously close to blood poisoning and had antibiotics through an IV. It takes weeks for an opening to come up to have a urologist surgically remove it. I would make an appointment with a urologist and get tests done. I go yearly and if they find a stone, I insist they go in and get itโ€ฆ.no way Iโ€™m waiting for it to passโ€ฆ.been through that pain too many times.

Honestly I don't know, but technically taking an opioid medication (vicodin, etc) NOT for the pain as prescribed by that specific healthcare provider or after it "expired" is illegal.

Increasing pain, recurring pain, feeling bag, all would be great reasons to call your primary care and see if they can refer you or to tell you to go to urgent/ emergency care.

I am well aware that it is technically "illegal" but I have taken that same medication several times over the years. I was going to go to the ER if I had not felt better in the morning. I have an appointment with my primary care doctor to follow up.

Once again no matter the subject someone on here has expertise in the area and can help and give advice. Amazing the cross section of knowledge this group has.
