Butchered the buck and two does yesterday, quartered the buck Monday and stuck it in the yeti so I dint have a deercicle to deal with.
Buck had almost no fat reserve, common after a month of rut but I was wondering if there were another factors.

1.5yo doe I shot was the fattest deer .. in maybe 120 or so I've cleaned here at the farm. Deep thick layers of white. Baby had back lol. Woodpeckers. Nuthatches and othe suiet loving birds are gonna be very happy.

Yep, it's been a great year, like it's been scripted or something. I'm grateful to God and all my huntin' buddies. I'm done till muzzy. Freezer is overflowing, and Danta Claus will be bringing venison to some friends and family.

Cold and windy here in Jefferson County, an inch of snow. Feeder repair and blind retrieval this morning.

Just an observation as I drove from Canton to Marietta on I-77 yesterday. I didn’t see one orange vest out anywhere in any woods, field or in between…..

I noticed the same on my way back from PA coming across 80, 76 and 71. Didn't see as much orange in PA either.
