@Hedgelj - they started with about 32 hatchlings, lost 3 or 4 in that stage, lost 5 more (one to thier bird dog, it got out of the tractor - that one doesn't count 😉). So +20% failure to mature. The meat chicken's they raised were as you described, genetically mod'd to provide palatable...

The first batch is processed, they leaned alot 😄... everything went fine and they got ~150# after processing them all way from turning them off to bagging. They didn't like the overall health of the meat chickens as they grew and going with a slower growing meat strain with the next batch..

I had successful hatches in all three houses I'm running at home in FL. None in the OH house. The juvies and adults come back periodically and it's a complete gaggle. They've been doing this for over a week now. The gaggle I got video of this AM is without sound, shame as their calls are loud...
