    I live about an hour south of Dave’s childhood home, @Dustinb80 is camping here Friday night, if anyone else would like to stay here or camp here you are more than welcome. I live on about a 2 acre spread in the middle of nowhere and can fit handful of campers.

    I believe I remember hearing on meateater that the fed Government gave couple million for cwd research, etc for all states effected , which is basically nothing, my point was I don’t think there is any money to be made from federal programs

    I can understand the concern western states would have with Elk because they are a true herd animal but Colorado has dealt with it with little concern for 20+ years. I’m up in the air on it

    From what I’ve read and listened to in podcast, I don’t think there is much federal funding for cwd, I think the state is just doing their best to stop the spread so we do not end up like Wisconsin. If I’m miss informed please correct me with some sources

    Hardin already had a positive test years ago I thought, the initial transmission occurred right around the Marion, Wyandot and Hardin County lines. Also the baiting banned in those counties isn't being enforced very well, I see feeders from rt 30 all the time.
