Getting out late with my son. Wanted to get out sooner but he just got home. Better late than never. Half-hour in the woods with my boy is great father-son time!

that’s so important! Good on you for doing that. It’s an amazing feeling to bring someone else into the field. Praying you see a ton of deer!

Yep... already blessed with a beautiful buck… So I was out to see about getting a doe. That might’ve been one of the biggest bucks I’ve ever seen in the wild though

Holy cow!!!!! It just exploded. Rut is on!!!! Saw button and mom and then two more doe. Then one small 8 scent checking. Then a forkhorn with a damaged eye. Then I heard deep loud grunts and this boy walks in. Wow, wow, wow! Never saw so much rut in the afternoon.

Button buck with mom came flying south to north. Then turned around and walked back south. Hmmm...

Are you using scrambled eggs for bait? Just saying it looks like a Dennys buffet out there.

Back in the saddle after a long time off. Good to be back in the woods but wow is it quiet. Not a deer in “site.”

Buck down!!!! Heard snort. Wasn’t sure where and big 8 came flying into 10 yards. Praise Lord although somewhat sad short season. ;)

Was just gonna say I’m out but haven’t seen anything when a broken off forkhorn come flying through nose to the ground smelling something.
